Programme for 2024
We are delighted to announce our two major productions for this year.
An Inspector Calls by J.B. Priestley
This play was first performed in 1945. It is a story about the eminent, well-respected Birling family, who have an unexpected visit from an Inspector wishing to question them about the suicide of a young woman. But who is this Inspector? Who was this young woman? As is often the case with this author, all is not as it seems. An absorbing, fascinating story.
To be staged in May at Marciac; Ste Dode and Boudrac
The 39 Steps by Patrick Barlow
Originally a novel by John Bucan and later made into a Hitchcock film, this play was rewritten in 2006 as a comedy. An award winning, uproarious, hilarious comedy. A very ordinary man called Richard Hannay, becomes embroiled in murder and espionage. He is chased relentlessly through Scotland by police and gangsters alike, and somehow, through the chaos, a love story emerges. Come and see for yourselves. Laughter guaranteed!
To be staged in November at Trie-sur-Baïse and Lectoure
